The memorial team at The Church at RB desires to come alongside you as you mourn the loss of your loved one. Our goal is to provide a meaningful service that honors your loved ones' life. Our facilities (subject to availability), officiating pastor(s), and memorial team are provided to you free of charge. Please see below for information on tech services.

In-Person Service

Consultation (ideas, details, budget assistance, overall expectations)
Event planning, covering the arrival, service and reception
Pastoral support and day of event coordination
Choice from four graphics packages (this includes walk-in/walk-out slides, service program, digital invitations). Option for fully custom graphics, with an additional fee.
Stage decor (greenery on the apron of the stage, candles, candle screen onstage, space for flowers and key memorabilia)
Memory table design and set up
Directional signage

*Please note that while we offer as many of our services as possible at no fee, In-Person services require hiring an event audio tech. The this service is charged at a rate of $50 per hour, typically for 4.5 hours, and is paid directly to the tech no later than the date of the event.

Reception

Receptions are an optional add-on for In-Person services

Up to 1.5 hour light reception (typically includes finger sandwiches, light salads, veggie and fruit trays, baked goods, etc.)
Simple reception decor (standard centerpieces, small frames at each table with photo and favorites/memorable quote, black or navy table covers)
Set up of any additional client-provided decor, as well as assistance in planning any additional decor
Complimentary paper goods and basic beverages (if requested: coffee, decaf, hot or iced tea, water, plates, cups, napkins, and utensils)
Reception service, including set up and tear down
Assistance with menu planning
Background music

*Often friends like to know how they can serve the family; this is a great opportunity for them to provide desserts/baked goods. Please have items brought in disposable containers.

**The Church at Rancho Bernardo does not have a full service kitchen, so all food prep must be done off site. Outside caterers are welcome, but should be aware that food must be prepared off site.

***The Church at Rancho Bernardo has limited refrigerator space, so we appreciate delivery of food items no more than 1 day prior to the event.
