Groups

We were designed to live in circles.

What are Circle Groups?

Circle Groups are instrumental in helping us step out of busyness and isolation and into the biblical community God desires for us. On Sunday mornings, it can be easy to come and go without being fully known. But when we commit to a Christ-centered life in community, we say “yes” to growing together & becoming more like Him. Circle Groups are how we live out our calling as the family of God—and how we share the love of Jesus with those around us.

FAQs

Who can join a Circle Group?

Anyone! Whether you’re new to The Church at RB, new to walking with Jesus, or have been regularly attending for years, there’s a Circle Group for you.

What is expected of Circle Group members?

Our hope and prayer for everyone in Circle Groups is that they would thrive as they experience healthy Christian community. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." In order to encourage others-and be encouraged ourselves-we must be present. That's why regular attendance is a key expectation for those in Circle Groups.

We also ask Circle Group members to care for one another. When we consistently show up and stay engaged, we share life together and position ourselves to care for the physical and spiritual needs of those around us. Our presence allows others to support and care for us in the same way and experience God's grace in being known.

What kinds of Circle Groups are offered?

We have seasonal and ongoing Circle Groups designed for different ages and stages of life.

Bible Study Circle Groups are oriented around diving deeper into God's Word, the Sunday message, or a specific biblical topic.

Activity Circle Groups are great ways to connect with others out in the community through a shared interest or hobby.

Support Circle Groups are designed to walk alongside others who are navigating various life circumstances related to grief, health issues, adoption or foster care.

How do I join a Circle Group?

You can scroll up above to see all of the different Circle Groups we currently offer. You can click on each one to learn more details (i.e. who are the leaders, where they meet, what they study, etc.). If one interests you, click "Request to Join." The leader(s) of the group will reach out to you within a week to introduce themselves, add you to the group and include you in group communication.

How often do Circle Groups meet?

Most Circle Groups meet weekly or biweekly and often meet in homes, online or on campus. There are three 10-11 week seasons a majority of our groups follow throughout the year. We encourage you to commit to a Circle Group for an upcoming season!

Spring | January - April
Summer | June-August
Fall | September - December
