In 2023, we committed to bring Heaven to Earth outside our walls by colliding with poverty, the education system, and human trafficking, as well as reaching inside our walls to raise up the next generation of Go First Leaders. Watch the stories below to see how we did just that.

This year marks 10 years since we joined church member Susan Johnson to create Alabaster Jar Project, an organization to help survivors of human trafficking. Watch to see how your generosity wrote a new story for 500 women across our city.

In April, Michael Valdez decided to Go First and step into the waters of Baptism. Watch how Michael and Danielle Valdez’s journey of surrender led them not to let a second go by without proclaiming that a life lived with God is a life made new.

This year, 17 of our high school students have been Going First to meet the needs of Special Education students, as a part of the RISE Student Leadership Initiative (RSLI). Watch the story of how this student-led team partnered with our community to bring a little bit of Heaven to Earth.
