“The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the Lord with one voice. They lifted up their voices with the trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments in praise to the Lord: ‘For He is good; His faithful love endures forever.’ The temple, the Lord’s temple, was filled with a cloud. And because of the cloud, the priests were not able to continue ministering, for the glory of the Lord filled God’s temple.”
- 2 Chronicles 5:13-14
“But they soon forgot what He had done and did not wait for His plan to unfold. In the desert they gave in to their craving; in the wilderness, they put God to the test. So He gave them what they asked for, but sent a wasting disease among them.”
- Psalm 106:13-15
