An expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher,which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lordyour God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Loveyour neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these twocommandments.”
- Matthew 22:35-40


So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them;male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Befruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over thefish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature thatmoves on the ground.”

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
