Scripture: Luke 13:18-20; 1 Corinthians 4:20-21; 1 Peter 1:23

1. How did Pastor Jared’s description of the different levels of biological life (plant, animal, human) inspire you to live more like this: “When you stepped into the power of Jesus, you ascended to a higher life form.” Do you accept this promotion? Why or why not?
2. What is your concrete slab? What is holding you back from addressing it with the supernatural power God has infused in you to bust through it? What does “busting through it” mean to you?
3. How does Jesus’ metaphors of seed and yeast, when applied to what you have been through in life, tell what the Kingdom of God is like? How do you embrace what is woven into your story from a Kingdom perspective?
4. Pastor Jared gave some verses that now have power when we access them: “...more than conquerors” (Rom. 8:31-39), and,“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil.4:13). What are some others? How will you know that you are accessing the supernatural power of the imperishable seed, and not just the structure of the words?
5. If you could see yourself as a mustard seed that weathered a storm today, but tomorrow you can sprout again, how can you embrace your potential every day?

Pray

Pray for our schools as they navigate the details of bringing students back on campus and into sports. Pray for - and give thanks for! - the teachers whose hearts have been opened like never before to their students and their families. They’ve literally put in the blood, sweat and tears to keep children on the learning track through a very tough two school years. And pray for the students and families as they navigate their anxieties, and re-establish rhythms for the remainder of the school year.
