The Resurrected Church

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching,and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in oneplace and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

2. Did you sit alone to eat lunch? Do you still sit alone? Do you desire community? How does knowing Jesus needed community change the way you view this community idea for your own life?
3. Read Acts 2:42-47. How have you come to value the “fellowship” in your group this season? (Greek: koinonia) How does this model help you relate in the circles you travel in outside of church life?
4. If the purpose of Christian community is to follow Jesus, what group(s) in your life allows you to honor this concept?
5. Read Revelation 7:9 - what is the picture of Heaven? If inclusivity is the hallmark of our faith, then how does inclusivity impact the influence that you have in your circles (spiritual, family, recreational, etc.)? What happens when you consider these questions:
   1. Do you need to audit your circle?
   2. Do you need to add to your circle?
   3. Do you need to advance your circle?
