1. Two Roads and Two Gates, 7:13–14

   a. The wide gate and the easy road that lead to destruction, v. 13

   b. The small gate and narrow road that lead to life, v. 14

2. True and False Prophets, 7:15–20

   a. The deceitfulness of false prophets, v. 15

   b. The recognition of false prophets by their fruit, vv. 16–20

3. True and False Disciples, 7:21–23

   a. The marks of false disciples

   b. The marks of true disciples

4. Wise and Foolish Builders, 7:24–27

   a. The mark of a wise builder: laying a foundation on rock by hearing and heeding Jesus’ words, vv. 24–25

   b. The mark of a foolish builder: laying a foundation on sand by hearing, but not heeding, vv. 26–27
