The Fruit Inspector
odness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
- Galatians 5:22-25
To be a fruit-bearer and a disciple of Jesus is to be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led in all you do. It’s waking up every day and choosing God over and over again.
Today, I want you to take a moment to be the fruit inspector of your own life.
Ask yourself if your life aligns with the fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians. Determine if there’s an area you’d like to grow in, then step into spaces that challenge you spiritually. Maybe that’s meeting with a spiritual mentor or pastor, attending a table group, or being a part of ministries like Boardroom and Greenhouse.
I love the heart of our women’s ministry, Greenhouse. It is a room full of women desperate for spiritual growth and relational connection. In that space, we pursue Jesus more deeply with the desire to remove the things that are stunting us spiritually, and helping us to be fruit-bearers for our families, in the workplace, and in the world.
So, if you are a woman reading today’s devotional, I want to personally invite you to be with us at Greenhouse tonight at 6:30pm. When you come, I think you’ll be surprised by the amazing women you’ll meet and how God will meet you right where you are!
Today, commit to taking an action step toward spiritual growth to be the fruit-bearer God has called you to be.
