Perfectionism might not be what you think it is.

When we talk about being a perfectionist it’s usually in the form of a humble brag. But it’s a lot more complicated than that. Perfectionism is often our response to early childhood trauma and our attempt to control the world around us. 

This pressure ultimately has an adverse effect. Perfectionism actually undermines your life.  Here’s how:

Strong people understand where their perfectionism comes from, then address it with loving reminders. Build a “Stronger You” by reminding yourself that you did your best and you are good enough.
